Scythe issues?

A year and 2 months later, my ears are still ringing and not showing any sign of improvement.
Yea, they replaced the can really quick, but I'm afraid they took something from me, permanently.

I wish I woulda have never purchased my scythe. They should make it right to customers but doubt they ever will unless there is a class action lawsuit etc.
Scythe still in tack but I bought a reaper as well. Was getting a bad feeling about running the scythe on a 300. Haven't got a chance to test the reaper yet but looks good to me.
I've beat on the reaper a little with a 22" 300RUM. So far, it's doing what it's supposed to do. My confidence in it is enough that I've now got a 2nd.

That's what we like to hear. And the reaper is actually rated for it without any issues of blowing up. It took enough rounds thru a 300 RUM that the carbon barrel started melting. Think it was 92 rounds as fast as we could single feed and slap the trigger. Can was fine, its actually one of the demo cans now.

Has anyone seen any issues with their rifle after the can blew up?
Mine sounded like a flash bang and the recoil in my 6 creed was WAY more than normal. Brass looked ok but did have an ejector mark.

Recoil is a lot more than just bare muzzle because your sending a "half can sized projectile" downrange a ways lol.
Haven't heard about any gun issues after a can blows up though.

Silencerco has been one long bad run ever since they lost the guys who built the company.
If the cans were designed properly, they wouldn't be blowing up in the first place. They aren't exactly building high performance engines over there, they are welding stacks of cones together, the same thing AAC was doing well over a decade ago, then charging more than what often the rifles they are threaded onto are worth.
At this point, there are dozens of companies making similarly designed/price cans, but without the baggage of blowing up under normal use and injuring users.
I don't care if a company "stands behind their product." Everyone does that these days.
I care that the product isn't trash to begin with.
They 100% had a bad run, it started with serial #000001 and ended with whatever one rolled out yesterday LOL!
