While my wife is still using 225 TTSX's in her rifle and have performed flawlessly……I'm a bit concerned about my 270 grain LRX's on "up close and personal shots.
One of my continuous concerns with "any" bullet is over expansion and weight loss with a high velocity impacts……one of the primary reasons that I went to Barnes bullets in 1992!
By the way PapaSmurff, seeing those photos is very convincing that my wife's bullets (2950) will be great at her self-imposed maximum range of 500 yards. memtb
I would imagine that the worst thing that might happen is the loss of a petal or two if they encountered something hard enough. I had this happen when shooting a large bear at 25yds with a 300gr TSX bullet.
