Of the action choices, I have only experience with Savage actions, mostly with pre-fits. I think there are a few lessons learned to ponder. Enjoy!

I'd skip Savage entirely and buy a used Bergara B-14 HMR for $800–$900. Then I'd save for a Tikka as my second rifle. The Savage's "value" disappears when you factor in the frustration and resale hit.
The true barrel nut Brothers know. And there are a few of us, and we are often very reserved. I have a .300 WM that is due for a rebarrel soon, and two .300 WSM, all of which are shooters out of the box. I also have three DIY semi-customs: .270 AI with 30" 1:8" Lilja, .264 WM with a 26" 1:8" X-Caliber, and .257 WBY with 22" McGowen suppressed.

Id love to see them do this with left hand rifles and see the resulted difference in setups. Because lefty rifles not only are harder to find but also usually more expensive, unless you find one in the corner collecting dust that a person just wants rid of.

L! I have another buddy that is left handed but shoots RH action rifles all his life. FYSA, the Savage Impulse action is ambidextrous/multi-position bolt handle.

Everyone is different but I personally cant stand a right hand bolt gun. An unfortunately I'm not a savage fan. I'm not dismissing them and saying they don't shoot well or work, in fact I absolutely applaud them for being kind to leftys. Just never picked one up and been like I love it so much. but I am smart enough to know they can shoot very very well. I think in a lefty showdown it would almost be savages across the board unless someone stumbled upon a tikka gen 2 or bergara at a reasonable price and actually available.
I actually considered building LH action rifle and buying a LH bow because U am left-eye dominant. Combat Arms actually forced me to shoot LH in one of my M-16 training. While I shot better, my time sucks.

Im left eyed dominant but shot archery righty as a kid because of my disability, but switched to lefty in high school. my archery shooting improved drastically. I will always encourage people to shoot with there dominant eye but I also know that can be hard and weird to switch if they have always shot the other way. so gotta do what works for you!I actually considered building LH action rifle and buying a LH bow because U am left-eye dominant. Savages and 6.5 Creedmoors aren't allowed into my house.
I actually shoot archery well with my right eye; the challenge is that I am monovision: my left eye had LASIK for distance, and the left eye is uncorrected for reading; otherwise, I would have to wear reading glasses. So for archery season, I wear contacts.

I have a Tikka Super Varmint in 6.5 Creed . It is a fine shooting rifle, typical Tikka . Having said that, 95% of the time when I head for our club range I'll be shooting one of my two Savage rifles in .223. One is a Savage 110 action in an MDT field stock with a Shilen 26" 7 twist select match bull barrel with an Arken EP-5 scope. The 110 was in a hunting rifle just sitting around so I decided to try to put together a relatively inexpensive yet capable 500 yard fun range rifle. It has been that in spades through several hundred rounds. The other is a Model 12 LRPV, rebarreled with a Shilen identical to the one on the 110. More of a dedicated target rifle with a target action and trigger set at 10 oz. It has been functionally flawless through 2,000+ rounds.
