What gun did you want that was never made ?

Have Ruger start making the 338 MXLR, where Marlin stopped, with a few more bullet choices this time around.

I think there's a market for this as it's a more modern idea.

A Marlin 39A with a 16.5" threaded barrel, but move the tube magazine so the top of it is at least .55" from the center of the bore. This would allow reloading without taking the suppressor off with standard diameter rimfire cans.

The Kimber 84M and Sako A-1/Vixen both have the scaled down diameter you're looking for.

Volquartsen made (maybe still does) a semi-auto 223 that looks like an up-sized Ruger 10/22 and uses regular AR-15 magazines.
Are either the kimber or sako in current production?

The volquartsen was a start, an 11.25 lbd before optics start.

Ruger Mini-14

Hmm. Definitely different levels to svelte.... that's a kodiak svelte...

I always wanted that rifle in 250 Ackley Improved, the Farming master was one the slickest little rifles to ever leave a factory floor, way back when, gun writer Lyne Simpson had a 708 improved built on one he called the 7MM SGLC, Simpson's good little cartridge.
I agree that would be a great cartridge in that little miniature... Wby MkV action. After tipping over a boatload of Yokes and Chucks with the .22-250 I decided I like to hunt Deer with it at a little longer range with more energy, so... I re-barreled it (26") with the same contour as the original, for the 6XC, besides, I still have my Varmnitmaster .224 Wby Mag for the aforementioned. The Wby Varmnitmaster, now in 6XC is a great little walking Deer rifle and extremely accurate. If you ever find one of the Wby Varmnitmasters in .22-250 your build would be a hoot, good luck. Cheers

PS: Yes.. the original barrel can be slapped back on, it still has a lot of life left. ;)

I always wanted a affordable Drilling gun.
2 12 gauge barrels in 3 1/2 inch chamber rifled shotgun barrels so I can shoot bird shot and deer slug out of them. It would be great and 243 or 30-06 rifle barrel. I want a piccaney scope rail on it. Wood stock. They might have guns out there that some close to this set up but not in my price range. Price for this gun should be in the 2000.00 range I would think new if Someone would make it. When I am out pheasant hunting I see coyotes and deer. When out deer deer hunting I jump 20 pheasant. The ultimate hunting gun. The reason I think a company does not make it it would cut into sales of the thier rifles and shotguns. Maybe some company will come along at make one some day. Marty
