Garmin xero

I have a SM. It's invaluable for load development/testing for F Open. Built my own target. Go to range, hang it on target backer, plug in sensors, shoot. Most matches are now shot on e targets. NO MORE PIT DUTY!!!! You can not rely on the velocity numbers.

Garmin in particular just gives a user a much much wider range of places it can be used. I can the SM being fine for a range for sure. I have not been to a range in a long time. I shoot in the field and can gather data any time I desire. I can attach it to the rifle or set it on the ground. All my sessions have been in the field shooting from zero to 1000 in wide variation of terrain. It allows me to practice positional shooting and wind calls while gathering data. All of it due to the size making it a non event to pack on the mountain, unlike my Lab, magneto, or any other device I have used before.

Hi, just get one! The demand will keep the price for a long long time.
I absolutely love mine as does everyone who buys one! No wires, no BS
Put on your table 5-15 inch from the end of the barrel & shoot. 5 button pushes & your shooting

Because of the way I have my front rest situated, I have been placing the Garmin 24" behind the muzzle. It has never missed a shot.

So far, I really like the little Garmin but the LCD readout on the screen is kind of small. Too bad there wasn't a way to increase the font size a bit.

They sell a sunshade for it,do you feel it's necessary?
I wear glasses to read only so I will bring them just incase

For you electro wizards:

The Garmin Xero came with the charging wire but it didn't include the wall-wort (or so they are called). I have several wall-worts from different devices. I'll assume that they aren't all the same. What is the difference and does it matter how they are rated?

As far as sun shades go, maybe someone on LRH that has a 3D printer could design one that simply snaps on the Xero when needed.

use your phone or tablet/ipad brick
if all else fails you can use your pc but it will charge slower
