6 GT/6x47L on a long action?

Does anyone have any experience with the 6 GT/6x47L built on a long action? Looking more for a repeater versus a single shot. I have a Howa 1500 long action that I'll be using.

I see no need with the 6 or 6.5 x 47L. I have several in Rem 700 Short actions with long FB and have ZERO issues fitting them into the box mag. LA would be a waste of iron, IMO.

I've got a long action Ruger and am thinking 6mm XXX…
Did you build a GT on the long action? If so, and if not, thoughts please

I ended up building a 6.5x284. My old man gifted me 15 boxes of Nosler ammo. Made the decision that much easier.

Have I shot it yet? Nope. One of these days I'll finally get some free time again....hopefully

Not necessary on the 6-47L. I am not sure exactly what my freebore is , but I load 105/110 class long and no problem fitting in he mag. No GT in the stable, yet.
