Looking for a mid level scope with the most forgiving eye box for a youth rifle. Thinking a simple 3-9x40 or even a 2-7x32 or something similar. This is not a long range rifle just a youth 7-08. Anyway just wondering what's out there? I wanted a forgiving eye box to make it easier for the kid to get in behind the scope comfortably.

Recommendations? Thanks all

If you can't go look through them then pic a company that has a good reputation for returns , or you could call up a vendor and ask them if the scope isn't working out if you can return or exchange it .
Burris has a lifetime warranty, they say , no questions asked.

I bought my first Burris scope a week ago , I put a piece of masking tape on the side of it and wrote ( tangent Thea)
On it , so the guys at the range can do a double take, when they walk by.

Best advice I can give you on that is go to a shop that has the stock at the rubber Mount to install scopes on and try different Scopes in it. That gives you the best practical setup for eye relief because everybody's different good luck not better than taking your kids hunting
