Might be easier to spend a little more and get some new Norma brand brass.

I'll never spend the money on norma brass again. Last 2 batches I've bought were no good. A buddy had the same issue more than once. I used to be a Norma guy. Unfortunately, never again.

I have over a half dozen firings so far on this batch of 50 with absolutely no issues...primers are still good and tight too.

I still have a pile of Norma brass for my other caliber rifles that load and shoot as well as the first time they were loaded... not taking anything away from Norma and not trying to steer anybody clear of them. I just can't trust that I'll get the same quality product as I did a few years ago. I may have just gotten the only 2 bad boxes they had in stock.. who knows. It would be my luck...

So other than Lapua whats better Win or Hornady ? I just acquired a 300WSM and I am a Norma fan as well

I like both hornady and win.
Most don't like hornady but I like it as good as any.
Win is majority of my stash but I don't get as many loads out of it as others.

I would say shoot what you have until they are no longer good.

Thanks, I've had good service out of Hornady as well

I have 3 300 wsm now. Shooting them all pretty regular and will be developing a lot for my latest build. Stash won't last too long with feeding 3 mouths...

Was your issue with the Norma Brass in the 300 WSM caliber?

Yessir it was.
And 243.
Very inconsistent.
And again, I have some that have been loaded multiple times and not 1 issue.

Wishing Alpha would make 300WSM brass
