6.5prc Load data and which powder for lighter weight bullets?

I'm shooting a Seekins Havok 6.5 PRC with 106gn GSC bullets over n550 and federal 215 primers with very good results. Very accurate at 3450FPS. Haven't had a good enough opportunity to try it on a whitetail but we are working on that.

What's your load data with the IMR4350 if you don't mind sharing? Have some 120 Etips that may be a good candidate to test this out in my PRC...

Sorry about getting back. I want to stress these loads are absolutely safe in my rifle ( 6.5-06 ) & very accurate. I Can not be responsible for you using these loads. So with that said. Start low & work up. My primer pockets remained snug tight for 6 shots straight. Easy extraction with out the slightest sign of over pressure. Barrel is an E.R. Shaw 24" stainless , 1/8 twist. Velocity taken 10' from bbl. Reformed Rem once fired 25-06 brass. Primer CCI 200 LR. Bullet, Barnes 6.5 120gr TSX. These were max safe loads for my rifle.
Rel 22 57gr = 3235 fps
IMR-4350 53gr = 3277 fps.

Powder capacity is one thing but the shorter stubbier powder column is a different thing, much like the difference between a 308 and 30-06.
Even so, sounds like you have a dandy recipe using one of my powders of choice, IMR4350.

I'm confused, what are you trying to say?

As far as I know the difference between a .308 and a 30-06 IS the case volume.

Sorry, forget the comparison, what I meant was, even if case capacity is identical, powder ignition will be different from a short stubby, to a standard LA case, even if subtle, there will be a difference. I tried to find a more graphical chart to show this but this quote from an article (https://www.rifleshootermag.com/editorial/the-truth-about-ballistic-efficiency/83495) sums it up:

"Improved airflow efficiency and a large diameter powder column make these cartridges more efficient," Stock said. "A short, fat powder column is so near the primer that you are getting more burn before the bullet leaves the case."

As to powders, so far N-565 and N-560 are mentioned... isn't N-570 in there as well?

Another comparison of the 6.5x06 to the 6.5 PRC. In my 6.5x06, 54grs of Rel 26, CCI #250 mag primer. Nosler 140gr AB. 24" bbl, 1/8 twist. Over my chrono. 3075 Fps. From what I see these two rounds are ballistic twins.

We've used R23 with great results with the 130 Accubond in the 6.5 PRC and 6.5-284. IIRC around 53 grains got almost 3,100 but there was room to spare.
