I have an opportunity to trade my Tikka T3 in 270win for a Rem 700 AAC-SD in 308. It has a 20" threaded bull barrel1-10 twist , Hogue pillar bedded stock. only 100 rounds through the Rem. Any thoughts?

Ballistically they are very much the same when it come to hunting. Advantages may flip to one caliber over the other at short or longer ranges but not really that much at all. I personally have never owned a Remington 700 and like a Ruger 10/22 there is a plethora of aftermarket products for the 700. I do own a Tikka T3 in 30-06 and I find it hard to believe that it could be an even trade, but like I said I've never owned a 700 and once again what are your intentions. Personally I would keep what you have.
