Primer seating

Ran into an issue yesterday doing load development. We were working on a 338 Sherman Short mag using WLRM primers and had a miss fire. Then noticed that the primer was seated too deep. Checked several that were primed and many of them had the same problem. We had Fed 215m with us and checked the primer depth of each and the Win primer actually measured deeper. We switched to the Fed primer and had no problem with them seating too deep even though they measured shallower.

Anyone else run into this?
