I've got a 338 win mag on the way and i need brass. it seems Winchester and Hornady are the most common. would anyone recommend one over the other? or something else?

Most any are acceptable. However, we had an opportunity to acquire a couple of hundred rounds of Federal Premium Safari (nickle plated) from a friend that didn't reload, and really like it. Seems to perform very well, easy to find after a shot, very easy to maintain! And if you know anything about a women.....the wife thinks they're a compliment to her .338, with that pretty, blue tipped 225 TTSX! :D memtb

Her "only" hunting rifle. She's used, .243 Win, 264WM, 270 Win., and the .338 WM. The .338 WM, her go to, and only hunting rifle since 1996! memtb
