RL26 257 Wby 115 Bergers?

Just took out our new 257 bee yesterday for the 1st range test. It is a 24" barrel 7" twist and running 128g Hammer Hunters at 3244fps comfortably. Loaded with 7828ssc. Shot well out to 875y. Ran a total of 18 rounds of which 10 were for load development and the other 8 were to zero then shoot the 875y rock. This one will be doing some elk hunting this fall.

This is our 1st experience with the 257 bee but can say that the 7828 worked up very consistently and predictably.

Are you using a standard SAAMI chamber?

I have to confess that I no longer check to see how much a bullet is jumping. I load them to where they fit the mag and are not hitting the lands. OAL of the cartridge is 3.455", bullet protrusion is .91". I would guess that we are very close to .05" jump.
