Dang!!! I just started on my bucket list... I got the bucket... You're a prime example of "just do it"... That's awesome.

    Copper shortages and price increases

Sell copper users short and buy copper suppliers long... Use the profit for free bullets... Just like ya do with crazy gas user/supplier fluctuations... Our politicians do... And don't forget pennies... Last copper shortage the gov allowed them to be destroyed... The pure'ish ones were worth...

I figured I'd better... so I thought on this a lot last night... per y'all's recommendations... I actually could not sleep for all of this great info... talked to my FIL again this am... he said they're all around anyway... I just haven't been watching out for them... that's gonna change... as...

Hog bait that squirrels (and deer, doves, etc.) don't like

Had not thought of that... we have a bunch of local stores that donate to our food-bank... many times the fruits and veggies have some that are bad... I'll start using that stuff too.

    Gordon’s reloading tool

I've been using GRT for years... my background is in IT and computer programming... it still took a bit of learning (and un-learing... lol). I started using it to see what effect changing different variables had on pressure and velocity... now... like several others have stated... I use it...

Hog bait that squirrels (and deer, doves, etc.) don't like

4 bags of corn ✓ Yeast ✓ Cool aid ✓ Powdered milk ✓ Diesel ✓ Posthole diggers ✓ PVC pipe ✓ 2 5 gallon buckets ✓ If it doesn't storm too bad tomorrow then I'll be digg'n and mix'n... All this info is great... Looking forward to trying these recommendations.

Hog bait that squirrels (and deer, doves, etc.) don't like

Actually where my FIL lives most neighbors are farmers (Worth county)... And have traps all over the place... Maybe we have more hogs than I think... Just not passing through my FILs place as often (small piece between much much larger tracts)... Prolly cus there's so many peanut fields...

Hog bait that squirrels (and deer, doves, etc.) don't like

So like a 4 or 5 inch diameter PVC with a chain on the end... And holes big enough for the corn to kinda fall out a little at a time... How long works best? I mean do they tear it up if ya make it too long... Or are we talking drainage ditch PVC... Lol... I'm gett'n all these ideas now... I...

    First Ar15 Deer

I'm just finishing a 6.5 cm for distance (and coyote/hog) shooting... Never hog hunted but my FIL now has them around his neck of the woods... Maybe I should consider going back to my 300 wby... If my shoulder could take it

AR10 balance point / avg weight

I've seen the word used often in articles... In the real world what should it mean to me on my rifles... I have an opportunity to shoot at a location where I could shoot steel at up to 1,000 yards... I'm nearly finished with an AR10 build in 6.5 creedmoor and wondered where a good "starting"...

Now that's cool... I've got access to non sellable rice krispie treats quite often... cases of the things.

Hog bait that squirrels (and deer, doves, etc.) don't like

I've got plenty of corn... And squirrels... Lol... Tree rats consumed a lot of it this year... Cam shots show the culprits. They even chewed through the solar cell cables on multiple occasions. Of course they filled the stew pot on numerous occasions also. I wondered if there is a mix that...

    First Ar15 Deer

My "overkill" was always a 300 wby mag... Right up until I had shoulder surgery... Ouch!!! Age catches up with ya in a hurry... Went to an AR in 6.8 spc 24" (130gr psp) and a 5.56 24" (75gr gold dot) for the bulk of my hunting now... I'm now looking at building a decent 6.5 grendel.
