    710/770/700

I was just curious. I'm a lefty and it's a righty, and trying to make a better stick out of it is someplace I don't really want to go.

Considering a Rem 700 SPS Var LH

I grew up shooting RH auto loaders left handed for fun, enjoyment and hunting but that came to a halt back in the late 80's when the ex took them with her when she left. My only experience with a bolt gun was 10 years ago when I picked up a Rem 710 and promptly put it away. Today, I'm needing a...

    710/770/700

Yeah, my thought too. I bought a 710 when it first came out 10 years ago and after I took it to the range, brought it home, put it in a case and never looked at again. Is the action a 700, if so, is it worth salvaging and using it as a start point for a better rifle?

    710/770/700

In the interest of furthering my education; what makes a Remington 710 and 770 not a 700?

After a little research and much cussing and discussing with myself, I've decided on the Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50.

And that is what it's all about. In all actuallity, I'll probably spend more time on the range punching paper than I will out in...

Good reccomendations all around. The only lefty Savage I found on their site is the 11/111 Trophy Hunter XP package deal and I did find that the Remington 700 SPS Varment comes in a LH version. There is a rifle that I had never even heard of until I signed on here and thats, Tikka. What do...

    CenTx hunter/shooter

First off, in my post asking for suggestions and recommendations, I misstated when I said that I didn't have any long guns. I do. I have a Remington 710 30-06 that I'm not very impressed with. The problem is that its competing with the memory of my Belgum Browning 270 simi auto, which I had to...

New here, first post and all that. I'll get an intro post shortly. I have started a bucket list and the first thing I've added is to be a proficient long range shooter. My goal is to have fun and enjoy my time on the range, not to be the next match winner at Perry. The problem is, I no longer...
