Thanks for the reply guys been looking at the canon cameras. I was looking at a refurbished about half price and lenses looked to be around 400 new.

Not sure if this is the right spot to ask this but I'm looking for a video camera to video long range with, say 1000 yards and beyond. Anyone using something that works good or know what the best of the west guys use. Again sorry if this in wrong spot really didn't find a good place to post it.

7mm ultra mag, 180 berger 3230 fps. My rig. Seen/shot elk at 330,530 and 836 yards and Droped in there tracks. Muzzzle break light recoil. Works for me. I personally leave my 30 weatherby behind and take the 7mm ultra mag now. I shot my elk this year at 530 shoulder shot. Busted both shoulders...

Well here is what I can tell ya. I had a 300 wby shooting 210 bergers at 2850. my friend has a 300 rem ultra mag push 210"s at 2930. I sold the 300 wby bought the 7mm rem ultra mag and now i shoot 180 bergers at 3230 fps my other friend has a 7mm ultra mag pushing 180"s at 3327.( we shoot the...
