How much difference will it make on my 300 RUM from a 150gr to a 100 gr. For that matter any recommendations, mainly looking for a sheep/plinking load. I don't want a muzzle break, so looking to lighten the recoil.

Hornady makes a 110 gr FMJ, and my manual shows a load for this bullet as low as 3400 fps. Any ideas how this would treat a coyote. Thanks I have a 257 but I would rather take out my 300. I am concerned about the fur. If there isn't a load that will be OK on the hide, I'll have to switch rifles.

What trigger pull is recomended for my remington 700 , 300rum.

For starting out with moderate long range, like 500 yard or less, how important is a range finder? I am an experienced shot out to about 250 yds. How cheap can I go on this, and what should I be looking for as neccessities in a starter range finder?
