I have no experience with H4831. But I have use used and continue to use IMR 4831 for loads in my 270, 7mm and 300WM for the past 20 years with no issues or complaints. I also started using H1000 for loads in my 300 WM about 3-4 years ago with great success.

Thanks much for the link and article. Like others, I have my preferences and biases especially when it comes to hunting and shooting. This article was a reminder that there is extreme value in using common language when making any comparisons. And last my preferences are just that, "my preferences".

I have used federal primers for 25 plus years for my 300 WM, 7 mm, 270, and 223. I have never had an issue. They always performed as expected.
