My 280ai i noticed sped up after about 100 rounds. I found best results with rl23

Going on some of the replies re 23 whos work well in the 30.06. Anyone got and load data for that

Hi guys. I use rl23 in my 280ai and im running 180 eld m at 2900 so would have thought 3100 with 140s would have been achievable

I was always told guts ect equal 1/3 of the weight

How many grains of powder with the 23

I use rl23 in mine with 180s and it loves it

26inch barrel. He's done lots of reloading. They are up there but not pressuring out.

I run 180eldms in my 280ai 1:8.8 twist doing 2900.

Mate has a 7rm running 180s with 2225. He gets 3000 with that load in norma cases. Maybe try changing your powder. You should be able to get 160gr bullets going up around 3200 3300 with the right powder

Mate of mine shoots 180s at 3000fps or if his 7rem. 2690 is slow

I shoot the 180 eldm out of my 280ai 2900fps and .13 inch group. They are awesome
