SUPER HOGS MAY INVADE THE US FROM CANADA

We get some big pigs down here, they are all feral domestics that escaped from farmers in the past 100yrs. My grandfather raised pigs and never penned them up except when they were ready to farrow. I am sure I am hunting descendants of his pigs.

There is a boar that I have seen twice running the creek bottoms that is over the 400lb range and maybe be approaching the 500lb range. He's fast and he's smart, I have seen what I believe are his tracks just based on diameter, but me nor my neighbors have never seen him on camera. He's put a good size hole in a couple of my fences, at least I suspect it's him based on the size of the hole and hair left behind.

My point is, these pigs in Canada are no more super than any feral pig running around in the fertile farm lands and wetlands here in the US.

The amount of click bait, exaggerated for effect nonsense, (Atmospheric Rivers, Bomb Cyclone, Unpredented Flooding) that the legacy media publishes is truly hard to believe. It seems that without hyperbole it just isn't a story.

One thing I did find interesting is the map Calvin posted above. Is there really that heavy a concentration of pigs in North Central states. I though the big concentrations were in the South eastern states and Texas.

No idea, Twas just humour to me haha.

The other term I keep hearing that I didn't as a kid is "polar vortex". It's winter in Saskatchewan. It's friggin cold. Always has been. But now it's not just cold…it's cuz of the polar vortex! 🤣. I'm sure it is a real thing but you could just call it the arctic low pressure system that does indeed wander around Canada and northern Russia….but you call it a "vortex" and it's terrifying.

THIS GLOBAL WARMING WILL FREEZE US ALL!!!! It's the vortex!🤣🤣🤣🤣🎭

So lower MI now has wolves cause "nobody" thought they can swim or even walk across ice. Hu huh. They knew darn well they can and will spread to lower. The elk herd will become their buffet. Mountain lions were rejected, now there is a DNR webpage, wolverines not here either, wrong again. Bears are not in south especially near Indiana, wrong again. What are these biologist drinking or smoking? Animals go where they darn well please, they are not behind high fence nor are they in a fish bowl. Speaking of fish bowl, we have known for 20+ years we need to shut down the Chicago River to prevent migration of darn near everything into Lake Michigan great lakes eco system. We expect electrical current to work as deterrent unless or until it doesn't. Seriously, biologist smoke or drink a kool aid that is unique to them. It removes "common sense". You want to see wolf management? Have them turn up in Lansing, Traverse City, Grand Rapids, Novi, or even better Ann Arbor.

The Canada super hog is a mix of domestic and european hog. Sounds like they breed these so they can claim they are serving wild boar in their restaurants to make more money. Texas has a good mix of european and domestic hog which sound allot like the Canada super hog. Where I hunt in GA I have not noticed any european characteristics. They seem to be purely domestic hogs that have either escaped or were released.
