The info says 120gr. Forgot to change to 131gr.

Forgot the chrono for this one. I'm thinking 2960fps.

Gonna try 42.8 and see if the group keeps shrinking. No pressure signs yet.

Thought you were waiting on pins and needles for the 120 hammers to come in. I'm shooting them in my rifle with really good results.

I got my best group with Winchester brass, same bullet & powder, at 3150 fps with no pressure signs. I was running out of case capacity at that point. Plan to try some faster powders next.

Nice, mine shot little bug holes also. Was using varget. But low on the stuff. Shooting just under 3200 ,so stopped load development and went hunting. We're still knocking off does on this property, I'm happy to do my part. All my friends and family are reaping the rewards of venison.

Man, that's smoking velocity. I'm expecting around 3100fps in 100 F. TX temps.

I got my two doe for the wife and I to eat in 2022. Big juicy ones 170lb on hoof.

They don't get that big in Alabama. A 135 or 140 on the hoof is a monster. Plus 200 pound bucks are also rare. you will hear about230 pound bucks, but when you see the picture you know they are guessing and hoping. Adult does range from 95 to 120 . plus I can kill one every day of the season.

~60 degrees F, ~500 ft. elevation, I only record CBTO 2.327" (.020" Jump).
CBTO = Cartridge Base to Ogive

The Winchester brass primer pockets are wearing out after several years of use so now I'm switching to Peterson Brass.
Peterson brass has much less capacity ~3 grains, so I will be trying out CFE223 or H4895 next.

I picked up two new Remington 7mm/08 barrels to work on for next fall Wt. They will be Spring projects so far . I see alot of hammer info popping up lately. I was at there shop when I lived in Montana. He is a great guy .

The 7-08 I reload is my wifes T3 Tikka with a 22" barrel and I think a 9.5 twist.

Both barrels I picked up are 24" one fluted and a standard one . The Wife wants the fluted one ! Guess I get the other one .
I also got a 270 wsm fluted barrel in the sale ! But I can do a different thread for that one .

I bet you could get the 120 HH 3100fps no problem in the 24". You are like me, I gotta wife into guns & hunting. I keep her happy. Lol
