Bino Case opinions?

For light, easy to use and functional, I can definitely recommend Rick Young Outdoors w the bingo bra. Very, very quiet and easy to use. IMHO

If you like more slim then go with a FHF but it if you like having pockets for range finder and other necessities, go with Alaska Guide Creations. I have a FHF and an AGC Kodiak Cub. I love them both for different purposes. The quality is impeccable on both. If I had to choose one or the other it would be the AGC.

You should define the case dimensions by your binoculars dimensions find what fits with a little extra room for fingers. I Kuiu for my binos as they're in the case when traveling in and out to the field and on miserable weather days for great protection. I mean you have spent how much on bino glass $500.00 to $3000.00 protect your investments. A $100 or more on a good bino case that fits is worth it.

I surveyed the market 5 years ago and very happy with my choice of the Marsupial for my Leica's. Even better design now that they enclosed the sides.
Main features I liked, small size. Easy one handed use with flap open or closed.

Not sure I paid this much, but I really like it. Light, carries binos, rangefinder & can squeeze the kestrel in.

Hey Alaska Guide creations….This is simple. I want Binos, rangefinder, Kestrel, GPS and phone all in my chest pouch. Would rather it be flatter like a plate carrier!
i also use the vortex harness - (Leica's inside though!) and you ca add little pouches to the straps for range finder, bits and pieces as necessary. As note I wear mine every day when walking my dogs so it gets a lot of use and it has lasted me really well.

I've been using an FHF for years and I really like it. I don't see myself changing harnesses for quite some time. If I did I'd probably try the Marsupial. That being said, I had an AGC for a couple years before I bought the FHF and at the time I really liked it but wanted to try something different. When I got the FHF I was impressed immediately, the modularity is superior, and it's much more compact and fits a lot closer to my chest.
I still prefer my Alaska guide chest pack for reasons stated in my #13 post, but FHF gear is my close second favorite of most useful bino packs.

I'm surprised more people don't run fhf on here.

I am headed out on a west Texas Mule deer/aoudad/elk hunt this month and was wondering everyone's opinion on bino case, harness or regular neck strap. 90% of our hunting is done from a ranger unless we need to stalk. In years past I used the neck strap but it starts rubbing on the neck after 6 days straight of hunting and glassing but it makes it easy to remove binos to prepare for a shot. What's everyone else prefer and maybe some equipment suggestions?
I have tried most out there and my favorite is marsupial gear. I have both the magnetic and the elastic (non-magnetic) version and use each for different applications.

Good mix of lightweight with just enough features to be helpful. I now have one for each set of binos and an orange one for areas that require hunter orange.

I've had a Kuiu bino holder the last 4yrs that is very comfortable and lightweight. They recently upgraded their holder. Looks pretty stout.
I have run the kuiu and the stone glacier for sheep hunting and ultra light applications. But the switch to marsupial is complete now. I have a Kuiu Pro that i could sell since it is just collecting dust. It is in Vias and has the little zipper pocket underneath and the rangfinder pocket on the side.

Yep. I got the classic max I think? Probably the biggest one they make. Everything I need at my fingertips goes in there, or on the harness. Gps in gps pouch, range finder in rangefinder pouch, binos in binos pouch, tag and license in back pouch, stop call on top pouch, windicator in left zip pocket and bow release or loose ammo in right side zip pocket. Front pouch kestrel on tether. The bottom elastic I roll a map in. Usually when I pull the map out of my pack more than once, I put it in the harness, out of convenience, because I don't want to waste energy lifting and dropping my pack. The maps in the pack because I didn't want to forget it in the truck lol.
I run a very similar setup with mine minus the GPS. Still rocking OnX on my phone with goes in the top bungee. Only thing different is a glasses cleaning cloth in one of the side bungee pockets (mines one of their hybrid designs) and my outdoorsman bino adapter in the max pocket. I haven't seen a different bino harness that can pack this much crap.

I live in west Texas and have hunted deer and audad. Most of my hunting has been on dirt roads so the dust is a problem. I keep a cover on my rifle scope too. I use a harness and found it to work quite well. Keep the dust off the glass and you should have no problems. Good luck. Big audad out here.

T and K Hunting makes a **** good harness that is modular with RF pouch and a separate possibles pouch along with wind check holster, bear spray holster and ammo shingle. All accessories attach via MOLLE system. Super durable and comfortable to wear day after day. Plus 100% made in US with US sourced material. You won't be disappointed. TandKhunting.com

I live and hunt all over Texas. I use Badlands harness and love it. It fits my 12x binos and rangefinder. I do a lot of spot and stalk and it fits my bill

Where I hunt the weather can turn nasty so I looked for a bino harness where the lid covered the opening on all sides. It seemed so many didn't then, but the Alaska Guide Creations did and has been great.
