Be advised. I mailed a flat rate padded envelope today. New rate , $9.30. Was $8.55 last week. That means all other shipping is up. Be aware before you quote a shipping price.

They said they were raising rates and delivery was going to take longer for most items, they wasn't lying sent a package to my son in Florida Wednesday and used priority mail with tracking and of 3 hours ago it's sitting in Huston. lol so much for 2-3 day delivery… maybe change from 2-3 days to 2-3 weeks!

If you are going to ship anything I suggest that you get a UPS account. Then you can use your own boxing material, measure it (xsmall/small/med), get the price, print you label and ship. You have tracking and I have not yet had UPS loose a package. On the other hand USPS I had several packages sending or receiving get lost or at best delayed two three weeks. I ship everything related to hunting/reloading except Powder/Primers. Can't do that with USPS.

USPS announced that prices were going up and deliveries would take longer. Example a first class that used to be delivered in 2-3 days will now take 4-5 days.

Higher prices and longer wait times, makes complete sense.

Yep... Saw that was announced on the news a couple of weeks ago.

You can use your own box, create a label, and even schedule a pickup, all from the comfort of your chair with USPS.
