I've been on this forum for a month or so. I couldn't figure out how/why I was limited in my posting. So I did what every red-blooded guy finally does...reads the instructions!

As a teenager, I grew up with a Remington 600 carbine,. 244 Caliber, topped with a Weaver 3-9 scope. Sure do miss that gun! (I sold it out of a moment of weakness...grrr.)

I currently have 4 ARs... (223/300BLKT/6x45/25x45 Sharps).
3 rifles... (222/25-06/6.5 Creedmoor).

My goal before I die is to have all my rifles shooting 1/4" groups. If it doesn't shoot, I sell it. The 6x45 replaced a 224 Valkyrie (1"+ groups) ...and...the 25-06 replaced a 243 Ruger M77 (1"+ groups).

I was told that reloading would solve my accuracy problems (lol). It shouldn't be called 'reloading'...'Pandora' s Box' fits better. Once you open yourself up to 'reloading', prepare to lose your mind with all the gazillion loading combinations available. It's fun-n-frustrating all wrapped into one!

In conclusion:
My 6.5 Creedmoor has shot a .1064" group.
My 25-06 hovers around the 1/4" mark.
My 223 might go...frustrating little 'b%&$ch'.
My 6x45 will make 1/4" shortly.
My 25x45 Sharps...in the building works, taking possession shortly.
My 300BLKT, no dies yet. Shoots a. 1" group with factory ammo. Low priority.
The 222, I inherited it, will be the last to shoot. Lower priority.

According to the posting rules, I need 10 or more replies, either positive or negative, to put me in compliance.

Thanks for listening.

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like quite a challenge. When you say 1/4" requirement, is that a consistent 1/4" or it did it one time? How many shots in the 1/4"group?
