Killed my first deer ever with a 30-06, and my most recent with a .270 win. In between there have been other cartridges including 30-30, 308, 7rem mag, 35rem and I probably have forgotten about a couple. At this time I am awaiting the arrival of my new barrel in 280 Ackley, in which I intend to run 168 Bergers. Have to let you know what happens next season...
