L.R. Rifle Reloads

I am going to get a pro chrono I think, It should be intresting to test my loads. Any other guys use that h50-bmg powder?

I tried H50BMG in http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/f53/my-300rum-mcr-70809/#post494570. The results were disappointing. There was a significant loss in velocity as I believe the F215M primer was not hot enough to get good ignition. As an example, Retumbo sends the 208grain Amax at 3140 and H50BMG only produced 2780 with the same bullet and primer.

My guess is that you will find H1000 and Retumbo (more likely Retumbo) will be your go-to powders.

I'm looking at some of the units for sale. Anyone own the Competition Electronics ProChrono Digital Chronograph? This seems like a decent unit. I dont think the remote will be a big deal for me.

I have a CED Millennium - great instrument. The CED M2 (current model) is even better. Sky screen replacement parts are inexpensive ...
