Down Under....
I used 3 type of paint spray cans...
Olive, Brown, and Green camo paint from any Car Parts Stores.
Works very well, but make sure you are using a primer paint before...
Before painting, just used your hand over a pieced of 2x4 wood just to get the right texture. When you are ready start on your rifle stock.
Make sure you cover all plastics parts from scope and lenses, trigger and inside action with green painting tape.
About the texture... I start with olive fisrt, then using different leaves and grass i just sprayed over with brown and green.
If you need desert start with light brown and then go over with olive color (lighter color), and just broke the pattern with one splash of white paint.
