Are lotterys fair to hunters???

After watching it for a bunch of years-the worst thing about lotteries is it removes all the initiative for the game department to improve, and maintain herds. They make enough selling nothing for something.

There are other ways for game departments to rake in the cash.....one is called the landowner tag. they usually go for around $10,000.00 to $20,000.00 per tag. Number two is called the Governor's tag....that on is auctioned off to the highest bidder and I guess the sky is the limit ......

The landowner tag money goes to the landowner.

Well put and just the way any gummit entity operates. Instead of something for something (like actually alotting the funds for improvement), the funds 'vanish'. Ah, government.:)

In Wis.6 to 9 yrs for bear! over 3,000 hunters applyed for the wolf hunt only 201 wolfs is all the DNR is goingto let get killed. Great odds ...huh?.
