Why do i never really hear of too many people using them. I picked up 100 of them today for my 7mm and 300. wsm.

From the primer heat charts I have seen they list the 9 1/2's as the coldest.
1 fed, 2 win 3 cci then 4 rems. I remember seeing an actual high speed camera
flame test on them so it wasn't conjecture. Google it and you'll find it.

I found the R 9 1/2 to be better under max load conditions than the Fed 215s in a 7mm Wby. You do not always get the most uniform ignition with the hottest primer. Sometimes less is best.
