I saw a 270 Win the other day for sale at a local shop, but that is TOO powerful. I really want to stay with a 280.

LOL. Just make sure you do not try to kill anything larger than a rat...at close range, like something inside of 100 feet...and even that is iffy!

Looking into the Nosler Long Range Accu-bonds for this rifle. Here they are good velocities out of them.
