Wyoming unit 38

Hi everyone,
My buddy and I are applying in Wyoming unit 38 for elk this year. Has anyone hunted up there? If so how did you like it, we hear it's crowded. But how was th e hunting? Good spots to set up a wall tent? Any information will be appreciated, thanks

Mostly public lands,
Hunter density: 1.88 per sq/m
Over 900 hunter scout and hunt there very year.
Get a good map, all you gears and you will also need some luck.

38 is a good area. Elk are there. Limited quota so you know the number of elk hunters. Bow season would be less occupied.

I don't have enough points for bow season I wish I did. But just wanting to get out hunting. Hoping for some older age class bulls. Not necessarily 350 just older bulls. And a good experience. We hunt elk every year . So not needing to kill to enjoy our trip
