Wyoming Area 98 help

A few buddies and I drew some doe tags in Wyoming for this fall. We live in Idaho and this area is just across the border. Last year we hunted clear on the other side of the state and the drive was miserable. So by cutting out drive time down, we now don't know where we can find some land to hunt. I just thought I would see if anyone could point me in the right direction to find some public land to hunt. I would not be oppossed to hunting private by any means but I understand that is a little harder to come by. Or if anyone knows where I can find a good map that is detailed enough I can find the public land myself. Let me know if you can help. Thanks

Also try the search function here, don't know if there are any specific post on unit 98 but a lot of general stuff that can help you locate a spot.

Really the best way to go when trying to identify public/private. Can be used on your computer to check units ahead of time.

That looks amazing, but I don't have a fancy GPS. Eventually I will and I'll have to remember that because it would be a great tool

You don't need a GPS though it helps in the field. They have google earth overlays, and other mapping products you can just use on your computer if need be. Their google earth overlays are reasonably priced and show most everything you would want to know about a unit.
