I just purchased a Nightforce 20 MOA 1 piece steel optics base for the Remington 700 Short Action. After mounting my 34mm Steiner scope, the 20 MOA incline is too much for my little .308, and I can only get down to a 200 yard zero, and all my data and drop cards are for a 100 yard zero.
I am looking to trade this to someone for a Leupold Mark 4 steel base, which are 15 MOA if I remember correctly? Or even a standard, no cant base will work. I also don't care if the base if 6-48 thread or 8-40.
I'm also open to other brands like Badger Ordnance, etc.. As long as it is of equal quality/price as my Nightforce, or if it's more expensive than my NF, i will cover the difference.
Otherwise, my NF is for sale for $115 shipped. It is in immaculate condition, and still has the package and torx mounting screws with wrench.
