Out of curiousity, how does the VX6 compare to Z3?

From just an optical quality standpoint, the Swaro was a hair better. The difference was easier to spot when comparing it to the 3-18 than it was when I put it up against the 2-12.

For me it would really come down to what features or qualities I wanted for a partucular rifle, as such I own 2 VX6's and 2 Swaros

Gotcha. I am doing the same. I just purchased my first Swarovski. It's a Z5 5-25x50. I was considering vx6 4-24x50 too. I really like the idea of illuminated reticle on leupold but opted for lighter weight of swaro...all options considered -weight ended up being deciding factor for me.
