I sold the action for this so I have no use for it. It is a B&C Duramax for a Savage staggerfeed RH short action. It has a varmint contour barrel channel, aluminum pillars, and a 4.275 bolt spacing.
It made one trip to wyoming and back and that is it, so it is virtually as new. The color is their "Freedom Green" color combo.
When I got it I had to do some minor fitting work to it, but it is done neatly. None of these are even noticable with the barreled action installed.
-barrel channel was slightly undersized, so I opened it up to nicely free float a varmint barrel.
-action was not resting on pillars, so I opened up the action area slightly to allow the action a solid contact with the pillars.Basically just knocking off a couple high spots in the molding.
