Looking for a caliber around that size. Something for wife's first gun. Not much recoil, lightweight , but potential for killing elk if needed. I'd like an adjustable LOP so I can take it in the brush instead of my 30 inch barrel 338 Norma. And change LOP back for her. Thanks

I have a Ruger M77 in 6.5-300 RSAUM. I has a 28" tube and its a little heavy. Just thought I would throw it out there. Let me know if you want pics.

Look for a Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor. Absolutely incredible performance at a very reasonable price. Mine shoots in the 3's with 140 A-Max and Berger 140 VLD hunting. Good Luck you are a lucky man to have a wife that likes to hunt!
