My dad is looking to buy a Raging Bull 8" barrel in 454. He is prefers one with a scope but willing to look at all.

Your dad is in for a real treat. I own one and it is a blast to shoot and hunt with. I have a leupold 4x scope on it and its a tack driver out to 100 yrds. Word of warning though mine does not like shooting the 300 grn bullets from hornady, it spits copper out the ports. 260 or lower it loves.

Yeah, he's pretty excited to get it but the local dealers are having a hard time finding one for him. Thanks for the heads up on bullets too, I think I have him convinced on the lighter ones to tey and reduce "some" recoil.
