I've had self timing muzzle brakes from Area 419, Piercision, and others. Don't like them at all. Big and clunky and look terrible unless you have a really heavy contour barrel. Sold them all. Better to just have a good brake fitted and leave it alone. Just my opinion.

I have a Gen 2 Little Bastard, been cerakoted black. Been used, but not abused. $110 shipped. Few scratches on the nut

Also have a CHODE nitrided. Same used but not abused. $100 Shipped. Few scratches on the nut.

Both are just too big on the barrel for my liking.

I figured I am going to get the barrel rechamberd anyway so I will just get my gunsmith to put the right one on.

Seekins muzzle brake works pretty well for lighter profile barrels (more opinion than fact). One of the smaller ones I could find. Here's pictures from when I had one mounted on my rifle. If interested in it, PM me. New, never used. Switched to an area419 for the suppressor mount interface.
