SOLD/EXPIRED wtb: Seekins lapua dbm

Can you tell me the max COAL that setup allows? I am looking to run the longer 210 bullets through this build so the reason I was after the seekins is it has 3.900" Max COAL magazines. I am REALLY new to the Remington style action and all the aftermarket parts and There seems to be a zillion magazines for these builds lol. Thanks Justin

According to the Seekins page their 338lm version uses a magazine of their own design which allows for 3.900" coal. Thought the aics mags only allowed for 3.625"? This stuff is really confusing.

Just measured the AI mag. If the Seekins mag will hold a 3.900 then it is longer than the AI. It will take around the 3.625 as you stated. Dan

I have a new 5 round seekins 338 lapua mag but no meatal if u can find some or get seekins to sell you one(sometimes they have metal and no mags) I will sell the mag.

I'd wait until Seekins gets the new and improved version of the 338 magazine system is out.

I'm waiting on seekins bottom metal too... beginning to think i should have just ordered a single feed stock.

I would also wait for an improved version the Seekins 338 DBM and Mags. I have ran one in my 338 Lapua hunting rifle for the last two years. IMHO there are better options out there for quality and reliability. The only advantage I see is the longer 3.900'' COAL which I was looking for however I find it rattles too much for a hunting rifle, I have had it fall out several times, does not feed great and the overall fell of the mags is not on par with us mags systems I have used. If you have your heart set in the Seekins- go for it. Just giving my $0.02 experience running the DMB for the last few years.
