I recently purchased a rifle that has a lot of sentimental value as it belonged to my Uncle who passed away this past weekend. It's an old K98 Mauser action, customized with a Shilen barrel and Timney trigger and chambered in .25-06. It wears a Leupold VX3i 4.5-14x40 with the low profile finger-adjustable "pop top" style turrets. I'd like to upgrade the elevation turret to a target/tactical style, but the Leupold Custom Shop is closed indefinitely. I know a few years ago Leupold sold a user-installable target turret called the "S1" (or S5 for the MIL version).
I'd love to find a S1 to add to this rifle without having to change to a different scope as I'd like to keep it "as is" as much as possible. Anyone happen to have an S1 turret that they would be willing to sell?
