WSM and 20" barrels?

CHRISTENSEN ARMS JUST RELEASED A 20 INCH 300 WSM RIDGELINE FFT THAT IS SUPER LIGHT I GOT ONE COMING WILL TELL YOU SOON. SPEED IS OVERRATED.WHEN U SHOOT SOMETHING IT WON'T KOWN IF THAT BULLET IS GOING 2900 OR 3100 JUST BUY ONE AND SHOOT.

What are your thoughts on your FFT? How'd it shoot, what was recoil like? (Could a young lady handle the recoil)

I shoot a Browning Mountain Ti 7mm WSM with 23" barrel. It kick pretty hard with factory loads. I load it down to 2850 fps with 168 Bergers. It kills out to 340 yards with authority. I haven't needed to shoot further. If I were buying for a young lady, I'd go with the .270 WSM, and load it down a bit, and maybe shoot Hammer bullets. My friend's wife shoots a 6 lb. Savage in .270 WSM, and loves it. With today's bullets, Jack O'Conners claims about the .270 are absolutely true.
