I aluminum foil baked the first two with butter, garlic salt, and onions. Smoked the other other but it came out alittle too salty. I'm going to smoke the ones we caught yesterday today. Less time in the wet brine thoughCan smell that hot cast iron pan sizzling with them!
I do miss the bluegill fishing in the Midwest. Good eating fish for sure! Ice was forming on the local lakes last week. I could almost put my full weight on there!Winter is hitting up here in Mid Michigan now . Looks like the lakes have some ice forming. It wont be long until I taste those bluegill fresh out of the pan !! Yummy
Until then I have a pesky coyote hanging around the house . I'm going to get the new to me 243 set up today. The old owner had some 55 gr and 95 gr loaded up I can send his way !
Oh and it looks like a inch or so of snow coming here today!
