I have a Winchester Model 70, chambered in 7mm Rem Mag. It has the "W" on the black synthetic stock and no floor plate. S/N 2400xxx. I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me find the manufacturer specs on rate of twist?

Do you have a picture or see the model on the barrel? I think Winchesters were 1-9.5" twist.

ADDED:

If you look at the discontinued section, https://www.winchesterguns.com/products/rifles/model-70/past.html, the picture you provided seems to be either a Pro Shadow or Black Shadow, both of which are 1:9.5" twist.

Whinchester number system is a little screwed up IMHO. In 1969 they were supposedly started with "G"xxx xxx yet I have a rifles in 1992 with Gxx xxx. It is Push Round Feed, meaning sometimes in 1968. But they might have offered some cheaper models when the CRF was re-introduced.

Does it have anything else stamped on it? Picture of the writing on the barrel when you can.

I agree with xsn10s, most likely twist is 9.5 but its is to check with a cleaning rod.

That would be better than 1-9.5". I'd just check it or the OP could call Winchester.

Friend of mine has the same rifle, bought it new around 2002-2004. Not sure on twist but his shoots well with 160 grain Accubonds.

Mine shoots the accubonds well too, but given the availability of accubonds and RL-22 I have to go to the drawing board.

I can not say for sure about the push round feed (his model is push round), but all the Control round feed 7mm RM are 9 1/2 twist. I can show you the listing from Winchester or you are welcome to measure it in my rifle.
Best way is to measure
