I have the EW rifle in .270wsm. I got it for an upcoming western antelope hunt, which it worked out very well, making a 380 yd. shot. I purchase rifles for an intended use. This caliber will not be my choice for the elk hunt.
Best 130 gr. bullet loads ending in 1" groups @ 300 for 3 shots, plenty good for an off the shelf rifle. I may purchase a 2nd EW for other uses.
