Which cheek riser for a stock that has a low comb?

Hi all!

I'm looking to purchase a Tikka T3 Varmint 223 but the stock already has a comb that's too low (see the attached picture).

With in mind what are my options? Ideally I'd like to attach something like a Bradley cheek riser so would I have to machine/sand the stock down or are there other options available?

I made my own out of a 50 gallon drum. Ill upload images, pretty self explanatory. tools were a grinder with grinding and cutting wheel, file and small hack saw blade, ball peen hammer and heat to shape it. I taped a piece of paper on my stock to mark how big it needed to be and looked at other ones to decide on the shape. also I use soft stick back velcro for my check rest so i wouldn't stick to it in the cold.

If I did it again, I would use a female allen bolt like the one i put in the pictures. but it works, i just have to switch the bolts when a right handed shooter uses my gun and be careful with cases.

Nice work Cody. I make my own out of thin walled pvc drain pipe. Very cheap. Very easy to work with. Get a cheap heat gun at harbor freight for $15 and you can shape the pvc any way you want. I will never buy a cheek rest again I he store bought ones never fit right for me anyways.
