I'm building a new 6 Brai 600 yard BR rifle on a
Bat B 1.4 octagon action. I see they have a ppc/br and a .308 bolt face available.
What would the advantages be by using the ppc/br bolt

Got this from a LRH member (maybe J.E.) a long time ago.

Short actions with a bolt face .Dia of .470 +/-

225 Winchester, 22/250 Remington, 6mm Norma BR, 243 Win, 6mm Creedmoor, 250 Savage, 260 Rem, 6.5/284 Norma, 6.5 Creedmoor 7/08 Rem, 284 win, 300 Savage, 308 Win, 338 Federal, 35 Rem, and the 358 Winchester.

Just makes me wonder why they offer both choices. I've been trying to contact bat for a week with no luck
PPC bolt face is smaller, you'll definitely need the .308 bolt face for 6br. Off memory I think ppc is .446-.447
My bad, @wildcat is correct. I was thinking of the 6 Dasher, which is probably what you need if you are going to improve the 6BR. Good luck!

Bat lists 3 options. A ppc, ppc/br and 308. I know that I don't want the straight ppc.
I'm trying to figure out what the difference was between the ppc/br and 308.

I fully understand the difference in case dimensions, that doesn't answer the original question of bats 3 options, thank's for all the responses.

If you fully understand what we are trying to tell you, the bolt face options allow end users to decide which bolt head best accommodates/corresponds to the cartridge of their choice, I.e., 6PPc use PPC, 6BR or .308 Win, use the .308, etc, as @Coyote Shadow Tracker provided. Good luck.
