I have bought and sold here for years with no issues. I prefer a check I wait till clears, usually 2 or 3 days, but will take PP FF or zelle. Need an FFL that takes from individual, I will include a copy of my DL. I will also meet FTF in Houston Area.
I have for sale a very nicely outfitted Weatherby Vanguard in 257 Roy. It is a blued gun with 24 inch barrel. It shoots lights out, .75 inch or slightly less 3 shot groups all day with several loads I tried. It was not picky. The blueing and metal condition is like new except for a few marks on the flooplate. Bore is pefect with about 100 rds or so down the tube.
It has an excellent timney trigger on it and also a Nightfore +20 Moa aluminum rail.
The stock is a super hard to find Back Country Factory model, hard to find a WBY only sold on the Back Country rifles. It is a BC with a full length aluminum block but has more carbon fiber in it I am told, which makes it 8 OZ lighter than the same standard BC WBY stock sold. The stock has lug epoxy bedded and is a great tight fit.
The gun weighs in at a light 7lbs 1.2 oz with rail on my amazon scale.
The stock had two small cracks/divets on either side of the bottom of the pistol grip, looks like maybe caught in something. I used a Mcmillan fiberglass stock repair kit to fill them. It is a super strong repair and looks really good in person. I originally planned to repaint the stock to cover them but in person it is hardly noticeable. You can see the repair in the pics.
The stock, trigger and rail are worth $500 alone on this gun. I want $775 shipped just for the gun.
I can also include for the BUYER ONLY a package with a set of RCBS Dies (2 die set), 75 once fired brass (Mix Hrndy and Wby) and 150 Berger 115 VLD Hunters (it likes these) for a total of $915 shipped.
