Checking to see if someone has a 308 or 284 they're not using. Might consider another caliber. I'd like to try one of Melvin's rifles.

Be careful, once you get one you will want another, crazy accurate for a light rifle. I am in the process of buying a 7-08 of my buddy ( its the one that made me buy my first one in 30-06)

I have a colt light rifle in 7MM, that was deighned by him. It shoots 168' factory norma ammo at .6" I dont want to sell it, but $2K i would.

The Fieldcraft was his design, they have been out of production for a while. Melvin recently sold the company to Wilson Combat
