We took all our game this year with a 6.5 & BadLands Precision 6.5 125gr mono. Worked flawlessly. I have a stainless Tikka T3 270 I would like to try on game next year. Me personally, have never taken an elk with a 270. I hear they do work. Would like to see for myself. I have a few Barnes 270 130gr, maybe 15 or so. Working up a load for this 270 & could use a few more Barnes bullets for practice . O, ya , elk remains. ( picture ). All the meat is in the freezer. Only 11 MONTHS till next season. Want to be ready.. So still looking for a trade.
