I have a 22” Brux #5 1/8 barrel chambered in 22x47L by Beanland Custom Rifles for a Bighorn TL3/SR3 action. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24 with a seamless thread protector. Cerakote color is Tungsten. Round count is right at 1000

Great barrel with plenty of varmint and deer hunting life left in it.

$200 plus shipping

No. .100FB so a variety of bullets will work well. I shot 68gr hornadys good. It is an 8 twist so it throated for heavier bullets

what is expected barrel life? (best guesstimate)

Will this only thread into a Bighorn TL3/SR3 action? Or is it compatible with others?

Only the TL3/SR3 without a gunsmith.

It’s tough to say on barrel life. Especially dealing with overbore calibers. I would expect another 1000 rounds of usable barrel life suitable for hunting. Right now it’s still shooting in the low .3s. And down the road you would have a fire forming barrel for your next one!

ok, thanks....

Do you mean a gunsmith to headspace it? I recall reading that Bighorns use small shank Savage threads.

Yes. They can headspace the barrel to a different receiver with but it’s not very economical

Nightforce has great tracking capabilities, they are rugged, a bunch of elevation, holds zero forever, and reticles are designed for long range shooting. So if you are looking to shoot long distances constantly, then you need a scope that can take the abuse. -- gilmillan1
